So the lake monster realized it had chased the children quite a ways away from the beach and now it was thoroughly and precisely fucked. The children put their fear aside as they saw the hunched and lagging monster. They regrouped. Slowly, it tried to meander back towards the beach but before long it was surrounded by a circle of angry, terrified, hormone driven teenagers.
